Here is an interesting film series I have just learned had become available at Blockbuster. The Night Watch Trilogy
It follows the story of two ancient supernatural factions, one for the forces of light, and the other for darkness. 1000 years ago, a shaky truce was forged between the two factions. To enforce the truce, underground forces from each faction were established. The forces of light operate in the dark, and the forces of dark operate in the day.
In present day Moscow however, the truce appears to unfold...

I first became aware of this as it was one of the films available on my flight to Korea. I would describe it as The Lord of the Rings meets The Matrix (for those familiar with RPG games, lets just say it will be as close to a Shadowrun type film as we're going to get)

It's based on the works of Russian sci fi author Sergey Lukyanenko

This is not that hero.
