Seth Gottlieb: April 2006 Archives
Those who watched last wednesday's South Park will probably recall that the entire two part episode centered around the recent Danish Cartoon controversey. You will also recall that Trey and Matt responded by depicting Mohammed in South Park's version of 'Family Guy' (with me so far?). You will also probably recall that at the critical moment, when 'Peter Griffin' was to meet Mohammed at the door, the image was supposedly censored by Comedy Central.
Well as it turns out according to this article, it wasn't a joke.
What I find REALLY ludicrous is that Mohammed had ALREADY appeared in an earlier episode (Super Best Friends). AND, if you look carefully in the opening credits this image He DOES make an uncensored appearance.
According to this link, they're already considering replacement actors for Chef. IMHO, it doesn't look good...
