According to imdb.com's news section Lindsay Lohan is desperate to play Wonder Woman in Joss Whedon's upcoming film.
I don't know if she could pull it off or not. She's a good actress so I have no doubt she could handle the emotional aspects of the role. I'm just not sure she could handle the physical aspects as I've never seen her do a really physical role and wonder how convincing she'd be.
I still say Morena Baccarin from Firefly/Serenity would be a great choice. She has the look and attitude and has shown she can handle the physical too. Of course in a perfect world it'd be Catherine Zeta-Jones in the suit, but I think she's a bit too old now if Whedon is going for Diana's first foray into Man's World.
It seems Brad Bird, director of The Incredibles, has his future with Pixar set. His next movie for the recently-purchased-by-Disney company, called Ratatouille, will tackle the story of a skinny mouse living in a Parisian restaurant. It remains a little cloudy as to what Bird's involvement with Ratatouille will be though. It lists one of Pixar's short film directors as the likely director so I'm assuming Bird will take on a producer's role of some sort. The movie is scheduled for a June 2007 release.
The article also says he's working on a sequel to The Incredibles. No other info was given concering this project.
a new trailer for the next X-Men movie, X-Men: The Last Stand, debuted during last night's episode of 24 and is now available to download.
