It's called WHAT now????
There's an interesting article about George Miller's efforts to get his Justice League movie made in Australia.
It's a lot of fuss about how the movie isn't about Australia, so Australia won't give a big tax discount to make the movie there. (Heck, show Flash running past that clam-shaped opera house while he's running around the world and bam, you've got an Australia-relevant flick.)
That isn't the interesting part.
It's...the name.
Justice League MORTAL? It's called THAT?
Why wouldn't Justice League International work? Or Justice League Unlimited. Or Justice League Australia??? Anything better than Justice League Mortal. Ugh.

... or *gasp* "Justice League of America"???
I don't get why they have to rework something that's been done well for ages. It's not like we're talking about the aesthetics of costuming in film vs. comics -- it's the NAME, something that is going to have to draw a major part of the audience you're trying to appeal to: comic book fans.
"Justice League Mortal" is stupid and makes NO sense.
I actually don't think this film is ready to be made yet. I think they are pushing it too fast and are sacrificing too much in order to capitalize quickly and try to match Marvel in how many successful films they're pumping out. I honestly don't know if I am going to see this one.
