| Plot |
| The Justice League are warned by the Phantom Stranger that Felix Faust plans to summon several demons on Halloween in a town called Rutland. The League journey there and find themselves taking part in a costume parade.Several of the party goers are possessed by Faust's demons and attack the League, defeating them. After each defeat, the Phantom Stranger appears but does not help them. However, the Stranger has stolen items from each of the Leaguers after their defeats and uses those to convince Faust that the League are dead which in turn banishes the demons.Attempting to escape, a now powerless Faust is captured by the police while the Stranger, offered membership in the League, vanishes into the night. |
